The changes in this release are as follows:
Magic OID prefixes for 'difficult SNMP devices'. More sensible return
codes from MRTG. Improved translations for Japanese and Germa. SNMPv3
support. The unscaled with bits option in rateup was fixed. In
cfgmaker, if-filter sees more variables. Threshold checks work in
mrtg-rrdtool. MRTG uses the shortest possible image path in HTML.

The Multi Router Traffic Grapher (MRTG) is a tool to monitor the
traffic load on network-links. MRTG generates HTML pages containing
GIF/PNG images which provide a live visual representation of this
traffic.
