This email is to inform you about the release of version '0.8.4' of 'libao'

The changes in this release are as follows:
This release includes new plugins for AIX and NAS, a rewritten ALSA
0.9.x plugin, portability fixes for OS X, HP-UX, and *BSD, fixes to
memory leaks, and faster plugin detection when ESD or aRts are
present.

Project description:
libao is a way to easily add cross-platform audio output to your
program. Output devices are implemented as dynamic plugins, and
support for OSS, ESD, ALSA, aRTs, NAS, Solaris, AIX, and Irix outputs
are currently supported.

If you would like to cancel subscription to releases of this project,
login to freshmeat.net and choose 'home' from the personal menubar at the
