Subject: [fmII] Avifile 0.7.34-20030319 released (Default branch)
This email is to inform you about the release of version '0.7.34-20030319'
of 'Avifile' through freshmeat.net. All URLs and other useful information
can be found at
http://freshmeat.net/projects/avifile/
The changes in this release are as follows:
XFT support has been reenabled. A file missing from the 33 release has
been added.
Project description:
Avifile is a library that allows you to read and write compressed AVI
files in most common video & audio formats (IndeoR Video, DivX, etc.)
under x86 Linux. Compression and decompression are performed with
Win32 DLLs. It includes a simple AVI player and a Video4Linux capture
program. Currently it is under heavy development, and while some
features (such as AVI playback) already work, some (audio
compression) are not yet successfully implemented.
